On Sun., Sept. 29 at 4 p.m. Bob and Susan Flood will demonstrate ways to conduct local research using resources available on the internet. If you want to research your century-old house, help map Main Street in Bradley Beach or have basic questions about how to start, this presentation is for you.
This program will be a hybrid session held live at the Carmen Biase Center, 719 Main St., Bradley Beach., and on Zoom. For more information and to RSVP call 201-993-9480.
The Floods will provide tips on how to locate and navigate through various online resources such as historic maps, newspapers, and directories. They will model research techniques through their examples of steps that bring the past to light.
According to BBHS president Paul Neshamkin, “Because the event on Sept. 29 is our first live event since Covid and major renovations to the Biase Center, we request those planning to attend in person to RSVP by calling 201-993-9480.”
