Park Social, formerly located where Al Ponte was located in Neptune, is open Wednesday through Sunday.

Entering the newly opened Park Social on Route 35 South in Neptune you may think you’ve left the Jersey Shore for Manhattan or Las Vegas.
That’s the atmosphere created by owner Sabrina Gullace who spent six months turning the former Al Ponte restaurant into a sophisticated lounge and restaurant unlike any other in the area. Gullace said she believes there’s a place for an upscale lounge and restaurant with great food and softer music, where diners can hold a conversation. She wants to appeal to women over 25.
“Park Social is a haven for girl’s nights out. It provides a safe space where women can unwind, connect and empower one another while being treated to unparalleled hospitality and service.” Gullace pays strict attention to every detail, knowing that women notice those things.
There are all new custom booths and what she calls a “very gray decor.”
Park Social has live music Friday and Saturday, when they are open 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday the hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Gullace said reservations are preferred and Park Social has two dining rooms that can also be set for private parties.
The menu features small plates with a raw bar, steaks, vegan selections and Gluten free choices as well.
The transformation from Al Ponte to Park Social began in the spring but was held up by the need to replace the outside deck to get township approval. Gullace would like to have a greenhouse there for outside dining that could be open year round.
Sabrina Gullace and her husband Matthew are not newcomers to the area. They are also the owners of Asbury Ale House on Cookman Avenue in Asbury Park. See more, including pictures at www.ParkSocial.com
