The Asbury Park Police Department made the following arrests Oct. 15 through 21.
On Oct.15 a 45-year-old male resident of Oakhurst, was arrested in the area of the 1000 block of Memorial Drive and charged with four counts of theft by unlawful taking and five counts of possession of burglary tools. The male was processed at headquarters and released on summonses with pending court dates. Patrolman Andrew Slinger was the arresting officer
On Oct. 15 a 48-year-old female resident of Asbury Park was arrested in the area of the 1500 block of Main Street for multiple contempt of court warrants out of Asbury Park. The female was processed at headquarters and then transported to and secured at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court appearance. Patrolwoman Herline Valcin was the arresting officer.
On Oct.15 a 36-year-old male resident of Asbury Park was arrested in the area of the 1509 Main St. for a contempt of court warrant out of Neptune. The male was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. The male was processed at headquarters and then transported to and secured at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court appearance. Patrolman Anthony Arancio was the arresting officer.
On Oct. 16 a 31-year-old female resident of Asbury Park was arrested in the area of the 1105 block of Main Street and charged with theft by unlawful taking and defiant trespass. The female was processed at headquarters and released on summonses with a pending court date. Patrolman Michael McDonaugh was the arresting officer.
On Oct. 16 a 57-year-old female resident of Asbury Park was arrested in the area of the 200 block of Second Avenue and charged with terroristic threats. The female was processed at headquarters and released on a summons with a pending court date. Patrolwoman Tess Martin was the arresting officer.
On Oct. 16 a 56-year-old female resident of Asbury Park was arrested in the area of the 10 block of Main Street and charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. The female was processed at headquarters and then transported to and secured at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court appearance. Sergeant Timothy Griswold was the arresting Officer.
On Oct. 16 a 20-year-old male resident of Barnegat, was arrested in the area of the 1200 block of Springwood Avenue and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon-handgun, transporting a firearm, possession of a large capacity ammunition magazine, possession of hollow point rounds, transporting the same, possession of a defaced firearm, receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance-heroin, crack cocaine and two counts of distribution of the same.The male was processed at headquarters and then transported to and secured at the Monmouth County Correctional institution pending a court appearance. Patrolman James Hand was the arresting officer.
On Oct. 16 a 23-year-old male resident of Neptune was arrested in the area of the 1200 block of Springwood Avenue and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon-handgun, transporting the same, possession of a large capacity ammunition magazine, possession of hollow point rounds, possession of a defaced firearm, receiving stolen property and hindering to suppress evidence. The male was processed at headquarters and then transported to and secured at the Monmouth County Correctional institution pending a court appearance. Patrolman James Hand was the arresting officer.
On Oct. 17 a 31-year-old male resident of Asbury Park was arrested in the area of the 100 block of Langford Street and charged with Assault. The male was processed at headquarters and released on a summons with a pending court date. Patrolman Christopher Leahy was the arresting Officer.
On Oct. 17 a 64-year-old male resident of Neptune was arrested at headquarters for a contempt of court out of Asbury Park. The male was processed at headquarters and released on his own recognizance with a new court date. Patrolman Ryan Leahy was the arresting officer.
On Oct. 17 a 35-year-old male resident of Asbury Park was arrested in the area of the 900 block of Bangs Avenue for multiple contempt of court warrants out of Monmouth County Superior Court. Search incident to arrest the male was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of burglary tools. The male was processed at headquarters and then transported to and secured at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court appearance. Patrolwoman Herline Valcin was the arresting officer.
On Oct, 18 a 36-year-old female resident of Asbury Park was arrested in the area of the 1100 block of Atlantic Avenue and charged with defiant trespass. The female was processed at headquarters and released on a summons with a pending court date. Patrolman Islam Joshua was the arresting officer.
On Oct. 18 a 54-year-old male resident of Neptune was arrested in the area of the 1100 block of Atlantic Avenue and charged with defiant trespass. The male was also found to have a contempt of court warrant out of Neptune. The male was processed at headquarters and released on a summons with a pending court date for the Asbury Park charge and turned over to the Neptune Police Department. Patrolman Islam Joshua was the arresting officer.
On Oct. 18 a 53-year-old male resident of Freehold Township was arrested in the area of the 1100 block of Atlantic Avenue and charged with defiant trespass. The male was also found to have a contempt of court warrant out of Atlantic County. The male was processed at headquarters and released on a summons for the Asbury Park charge and on his own recognizance with a new court date for the warrant. Patrolman Islam Joshua was the arresting officer.
On Oct. 18 34-year-old female resident of Asbury Park was arrested in the area of the 1000 block of Second Avenue and charged with robbery. This arrest stems from an incident which occurred on Oct. 4 in the 1500 block of Main Street. The female was processed at headquarters and then transported to and secured at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court appearance. Patrolman Christopher Leahy was the arresting officer.
On Oct. 18 a 23-year-old female resident of Asbury Park was arrested in the area of the 10 block of Atkins Avenue and charged with assault and obstruction of the administration of law. On Oct.18 a 53-year-old male resident of Freehold, was arrested in the area of the 1100 Block of Atlantic Avenue and charged with defiant trespass and possession of a controlled dangerous substance-crack cocaine. On Oct. 20 a 40-year-old male resident of Neptune was arrested in the area of the 700 block of Main Street and charged with disorderly conduct. The male was processed at headquarters and released on a summons. Patrolman Kevin Gutierrez was the arresting officer.
On Oct. 21 a 31-year-old male resident of Neptune was arrested in the area of the 100 block of Memorial Drive for a contempt of court warrant out of the United States Marshalls Office. The male was processed at headquarters and then transported to and secured at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court appearance. Patrolman Matthew Buttermark was the arresting officer.
On Oct. 21 a 41-year-old male resident of Neptune was arrested in the area of the 100 block of Memorial Drive and charged with defiant trespass. The male was processed at headquarters and released on a summons with a pending court date. Patrolman Andrew Slinger was the arresting officer.
