Two Bradley Beach police officers were recently promoted.
Josephine Celauro was promoted to lieutenant and Kevin Gale to sergeant. These promotions reflect their dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of the Bradley Beach community, officials said.
Mayor Larry Fox extended congratulations.
“Our community is fortunate to have officers like Josephine and Kevin. Their leadership and commitment have made a significant impact on the safety and spirit of Bradley Beach,” he said. “We are proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing them thrive in these new positions.”
Police Chief James Arnold praised both officers, adding, “Josephine and Kevin have consistently demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a tireless work ethic. Their promotions are well deserved, and I am confident they will excel in their new roles as they continue to serve the Borough of Bradley Beach with distinction.”
With this promotion, Lt. Celauro is the highest ranking female officer in Bradley Beach Police Department history. Sergeant Kevin Gale has served the Bradley Beach Police Department with dedication, bringing a wealth of experience and strong leadership to his new role, officials said.
