The Neptune City Fire Department has taken possession of its new fire engine.
“Congratulations to Station 35 and welcome to the borough family the brand new 2024 Seagrave Marauder engine,” the borough said as it posted photos on social media of the new equipment as it arrived on Monday. “We wish you all nothing but health and safety throughout all your time together.”
Fire Chief Kevin Pierce and Deputy Chief Rich Maher traveled to Seagrave headquarters in Wisconsin for a final inspection before the vehicle was taken to Seagrave’s East Brunswick facility where it was detailed, had its first service completed, graphics were applied, and tools were put in place.
