Police arrested a 30-year old Long Branch man on an active Allenhurst warrant. He was processed and released after posting 10 percent cash bail. Sgt Rapolla was the arresting officer.

After stopping a 47-year old Bradley Beach man for a motor vehicle violation, police found the man was unlicensed (never having had a license). The driver was also found to have an active warrant, out of Bradley Beach. He was taken into custody without incident. He was processed and released after posting cash bail and was issued 3 summonses, with a pending court date. Sgt Rapolla was the arresting officer.

Officers responded to a Spier Avenue location for a report of a 2-vehicle crash, where one vehicle may have left the scene. The second vehicle was identified and that driver was issued 2 summonses. Ptl Bailey was the investigating officer.

Police stopped a 26-year old Long Branch man for an equipment violation and found he was unlicensed (never having had a license). He was released after being issued 2 summonses. The registered owner of the vehicle was also issued a summons for allowing an unlicensed person to operate their vehicle. Ptl Riker was the arresting officer.

After stopping a 38-year old Long Branch woman for an equipment violation, police arrested her after she was found to have given false information about her identity to the officers, possibly to hide the fact her driving privileges were suspended. She was processed and released on 1 criminal summons and 4 motor vehicle summonses. Ptl Riker was the arresting officer.

Officers stopped a 51-year old Staten Island man for a motor vehicle violation and discovered the vehicle had no insurance. The man was processed and released on two summonses and his vehicle was impounded. Ptl Chipak was the arresting officer.

During the early morning hours, officers responded to the area of Spier and Main Street for a report of a theft. It was found a passenger in a taxi had fled from the cab without paying his fare. The matter remains an open investigation. Ptl Kroeger was the investigating officer.

After stopping a 41-year old Long Branch woman for a motor vehicle violation, police found she was driving with a suspended license. She was processed and released on 3 summonses. Sgt Rapolla was the arresting officer.
In addition to the above listed incidents, Allenhurst officers also had 12 other incidents involving fraudulent inspection stickers, resulting in a total of 23 summonses issued in those incidents.
Between Dec. 16 and 31 police responded to 5 residential/commercial alarms.
