During the early morning hours, officers observed two subjects on Main Street, in a parked vehicle, of a closed business. After officers made contact with the subjects, it was discovered they were having a verbal argument. Both parties were checked for warrants and sent on their way. Ptl Riker was the investigating officer.

After stopping a 20-year old North Carolina man for a moving violation, police found the man was unlicensed (never having had a license). He was processed and released on 3 summonses, with a pending court date. Sgt Lipari was the arresting officer.

Police stopped a 26-year old Virginia man for a motor vehicle violation and discovered the inspection sticker on the vehicle was fraudulent. The driver was processed and released on 2 summonses. Ptl Chipak was the involved officer.

Officers stopped a 52-year old Long Branch woman for a motor vehicle violation and found the vehicle had a fraudulent inspection sticker and the driver was unlicensed (never having had a license). She was processed and released, after being issued 3 summonses. Sgt Rapolla was the arresting officer.
1/31/25
Officers took a report from a resident involving a possible fraud. The matter remains an open investigation between the Allenhurst Police Department and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. Sgt Lipari has been assigned the investigation.
In addition, Allenhurst officers also had eight other incidents involving fraudulent inspection stickers, resulting in a total of 14 summonses issued in those incidents.
Between Jan. 16 and 31 police responded to three residential/commercial alarms.
Officers also responded to seven incidents involving suspicious persons/vehicles during the above time period.
Allenhurst officers also addressed three code violations and borough ordinances during the aforementioned time period.
During the above time period officers also responded to two fire and first aid calls in the borough.
