After stopping a 22-year old Ocean Township man for a motor vehicle violation, police found the man had two active warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident. He was processed and released (on cash bail) and was issued 1 Allenhurst traffic summons. SO II Griffin was the arresting officer.

Police stopped a 48-year old Interlaken woman for a motor vehicle violation and discovered the vehicle’s registration expired over four years ago and the vehicle’s registration was suspended. The woman was issued two summonses and the vehicle was impounded. Ptl Chipak was the involved officer.

Police charged a 57-year old Asbury Park man with driving while suspended, after stopping his vehicle. He was issued 1 summons and released with a court date. Ptl Riker was the arresting officer.

Officers arrested a 37-year old Long Branch man on an outstanding Allenhurst warrant. He was processed and released with a new court date, as per the Court. Ptl Kroeger was the arresting officer.

Police are investigating a hit/run incident, involving property damage, which occurred early in the day on Cedar Avenue. SO II Griffin and Sgt Rapolla are the investigating officers.

After stopping a 43-year old Asbury Park man for speeding, police found the inspection sticker on the vehicle was fraudulent. He was processed and released on three summonses, with a pending court date. SO II Griffin was the involved officer.

Officers stopped a 24-year old Eatontown man for an inspection violation and found the man was driving with a suspended driver’s license. He was processed and released on 2 summonses. Sgt Rapolla was the arresting officer.

Police stopped a 19-year old Asbury Park man for an inspection violation and discovered the man was unlicensed (never having had a license). He was processed and released on 2 summonses. Ptl Riker was the arresting officer.

Officers charged a 33-year old Neptune Twp man with driving with a suspended driver’s license and a vehicle with a suspended registration, both with a pending court date. Sgt Rapolla was the arresting officer.

Police took a report involving terroristic threats. The matter remains an active investigation and there is no threat to the community. Ptl Kroeger took the report.

At the request of Bridgewater PD, officers checked our beachfront for a possibly suicidal subject. The areas were searched and the subject was not located.

During the very early morning hours, officers responded to the train station area for a report of a robbery. After taking the report, the follow up investigation revealed no such incident took place. Sgt Lipari was the investigating officer.

After stopping a 36-year old Ocean Grove woman for a motor vehicle violation, police found she had a suspended driver’s license and the vehicle had a suspended registration. The driver was processed and released on 3 summonses and her vehicle was impounded. Ptl Chipak was the involved officer.

Officers responded to Corlies Avenue for a report of a road rage incident. Officers were able to make contact with one of the vehicles involved. The matter was found to have occurred in Deal and the complaints would be pending in that jurisdiction. Ptl Chipak was the investigating officer.
In addition to the above listed incidents, Allenhurst officers also had 12 other incidents involving fraudulent inspection stickers, resulting in a total of 25 summonses issued in those incidents.
Between Feb. 16 and 28 , police responded to nine residential/commercial alarms.
Officers also responded to three incidents involving suspicious persons/vehicles during the above time period.
Allenhurst officers also addressed three code violations and borough ordinances during the aforementioned time period.
