On Main Avenue Sgt. William Major and Police Officer Ian Ambrose arrested a male subject on Main Street who was found to be in possession of Fentanyl pills. He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance and possession in a school zone.
On March 9 on Newark Avenue Kevin Hernandez, 29, of Monmouth Junction was arrested and charged with attempting to elude police during a traffic stop. He was also charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and issued several motor vehicle summonses after he struck several parked vehicles in Ocean Grove. Sergeant Michael Tardio and Police Officer Andrew Redmond made the arrest with the assistance ofNeptune Police.
The Bradley Beach Police Department also arrested two individuals on outstanding contempt of court warrants and investigated three motor vehicle accidents between Feb. 22 and March 16.
