On March 17 Najee Alston, 22, of Newark was arrested and charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle was stolen on Nov. 17, 2024, from the 200 block of Newark A venue. The vehicle was recovered a short time later by patrol officers in Asbury Park. A thorough investigation by Det. Gregory Pancza led to the identification of Alston as a suspect. As a result, warrant complaints were endorsed for Alston charging him with burglary and theft and he was ultimately arrested by the Newark Police Department on March 17.
The Bradley Beach Police Department received several calls for service and investigated two motor vehicle accidents between March 10 and March 31.
