Asbury Park Police Chief David Kelso is asking residents and business owners with surveillance cameras installed to help solve city crime.
“The Asbury Park Police Department is committed to utilizing every possible resource to protect our citizens and their property,” Kelso said.
The chief said the department has launched a collaborative program and are asking those with cameras to work together to help make the city safer for everyone.

As officers respond to reports of criminal activity they may be able to use footage captures on the video equipment.
