Gift Auction at St. James Church

coaster-news-200-newSt. James Episcopal Church, Bradley Beach will hold its annual Gift Auction on Sat., June 3.

The auction will be held on the church grounds located at 605 Fourth and Hammond  avenues Bradley Beach.

The auction is held every other year to raise funds the church and the outreach programs it provides to the community.

The fee for admission is $15 and includes a sheet of 26 tickets, a door prize ticket, coupons and other giveaways.

It also includes dessert, coffee or tea.

Lunch is available at noon, basket review opens at 12:30 pm and the first ticket will be pulled promptly at 2 p.m.
There will be bikes, Coach purses, gift certificates, family fun packs, Sports Memorabilia, baskets for every occasion and so much more.

The grand prize this years is Disney Passes for four.

“The committee has been working diligently on the auction for the past several months. Our gifts are amazing and will be plentiful,” Chairperson Janice Spiers said.  “We only have room for 150 guests so be sure to arrive early to secure a seat, once we are sold out the doors are closed.”

A release from the church states that St James has been part of the Bradly Beach community for over 100 years. It is home to the Bradley Food Pantry and serves as a meeting for many organizations. St James is known as “the friendly church” where all are always welcome.
