Neptune Mayor Robert Lane said that the Neptune Township Mayor’s Charity Ball has reached maximum guest attendance for the in-person, outdoor event Oct. 17.
Lane is thankful for the interest in the ball and the overall support for the support the 27th Annual Mayor’s Charity Ball, and its beneficiary, the Jersey Shore Dream Center. Since 2012, under the banner of “Find a Need and Fill It,” the center’s mission has been to give hope to the hopeless, food to the hungry, clothes to the needy, and freedom in Christ Jesus to those bound by addiction.
The Mayor’s Ball, celebrating its 27th year, annually lends financial support to organizations and efforts that make a difference locally. Lane is a strong supporter of community volunteer organizations, and the 2020 Mayor’s Charity Ball event will raise funds to help the Jersey Shore Dream Center continue to feed, clothe, and diaper those in need.
