The store, which provides baking supplies to bakeries in Monmouth and Ocean counties will sell bakery goods donated by their clients.

Bakeries that sell only nut free or gluten free items also donate to the sale.

All of the proceeds will be donated to this year’s charity The Blessing Bag Brigade NJ, which is a 501 (c)3 non profit organization.

The charity is dedicated to helping the homeless by assembling bags of toiletries and food items which they then distribute to areas with significant homeless populations.

According to the Blessing Bag’s Facebook page, “It’s been our first-hand experience through this project, that there are everyday items that can make an impact and difference in their world. We’ve experienced the homeless using the Blessing Bag donations immediately in rest rooms. We’ve seen them tear into the food that has been donated, use the lotion on their extremely dry legs, and put on new socks given to them in the Blessing Bags.”

The Blessing Bags include trial size items of tooth paste, toothbrush, soap, body wash, lotion, lip balm, disposable razor, band-aids, socks, water, snacks and other personal hygiene items.
