A live webinar, Aug. 18, featuring an original stage reading will tell the story of the fight for the vote emphasizing the experience of African American women.
At 7:30 p.m. the voices of five women and one man bring the long struggle for the vote to life.
Living history interpreters will recreate a conversation between Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglas that reveals the strain on their relationship following the passage of the 15th amendment in 1870.
