Dameon Winslow, Asbury Park – Yeah, I’m scared to death. If something happens, you just can’t jump out and run like with a car or train. For me, no boats, no planes. At least not now, I’m too afraid.
Neil aka “The Silver Fox” Den Braven, Ocean Grove – I don’t mind the flying, it’s the airports, very inconsiderate! I just got back from flying to see my kids. I got cancelled three times. Very inconsiderate. Other than that, it’s the only way to go!
Terri Fasolo, Asbury Park – Yes, I’m always leery. I never get on a plane. Who would right now? With all that is going on in the world. It’s sad. It really is.
Bob Gould, Oakhurst – It depends in the size of the broom. I wouldn’t fly overseas on an airplane, I have too much work and I can’t swim. I’m a plumbing contractor.
Jesi Halprin, Asbury Park – No, not at all. I’ve flown so many times, especially in the past year. I don’t think about it. I think it’s safe.
Beth Shabazian, Belmar & Sue Hitcher, Atlanta – Beth: We were just talking about that this morning. I’m terrified of flying in the first place, and more so lately. Sue: I fly frequently, easily and it’s the best way to get there. I feel like I’m in my living room. No sense of being up in the air at all. I flew here Wednesday.
John & Connie Lysko, Ocean – No, not at all. In fact, we’re flying to France in September. We have ‘Wander-lust.’ We love to travel. John recently retired and our major goal is to do as much traveling as we can.
Jill Magnuson, Ocean Grove – In the states I would fly. I would go out of the country where it was safe right now. I wouldn’t want to travel to Afghanistan or any other place where they’re at war with a no fly zone.
Patti McCormick, Bradley Beach -Yes, I am. I’m always leery of flying, but more so now. Our daughters is in Germany right now, and I’m a little bit scared. She’s flying home this week.
Bill Mockridge, Ocean Grove – Not in this country. The crazies are in the other countries. I fly down to Florida. I’ll be going this fall.
Lee Morgan, Ocean Grove – Not in the least. Statistically it’s a very safe way to get around. I’ve done a lot of flying, both long and short flights. My longest flight was 14 hours. I don’t think twice about it.
Jessica Rant, Ocean – I don’t go away too much, but right now I wouldn’t travel outside of the US. It seems too risky right now. In state, I feel safe and I’d fly.
Virginia Simpson, Spring Lake Heights – I’m sort of half and half. I think I would fly if I have to go somewhere. If I was going some place good. I wouldn’t just go for no reason at all. If it’s my time to go …But it really is scary.
