Asbury Park Police Ask Residents, Businesses to Partner in Crime Solving

Asbury Park Police Chief David Kelso is asking residents and business owners with surveillance cameras installed to help solve city crime.

“The Asbury Park Police Department is committed to utilizing every possible resource to protect our citizens and their property,” Kelso said.

The chief said the department has launched a collaborative program and are asking those with cameras to work together to help make the city safer for everyone.

Kelso is asking anyone with installed cameras to visit the website and follow the link.

For more information contact Officer Joseph Swansinger at 732.502.5767 or Sgt. Michael Casey at 732.502.5705.

As officers respond to reports of criminal activity they may be able to use footage captures on the video equipment.
