Over 100 people turned out for fun with Santa at Summerfield Elementary School in Neptune over the weekend. There were plenty of sweet treats for attendees in addition to a DJ, arts and crafts, and musical games, and a giant inflatable snow globe while waiting for Santa to arrive.

Cards for the Holiday Season
Help bring a little holiday cheer to residents of local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is a great project for the kids at home. Bring your homemade cards (no envelope necessary) to the Recreation Office between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at 2201 Heck Ave. (across from the Middle School) by Wed., Dec. 13. Winter Fire event with food trucks and video game trailer!
On Thurs., Dec. 21, December 21 (with a weather date of 12/22), from 5 to 7 p.m. visit Loffredo Field on West Bangs Avenue for an evening of fun and camaraderie at this brand-new event! Gather around a crackling bonfire, toast marshmallows, and enjoy poetry readings.
In addition, you can immerse yourself in the world of gaming with an exclusive video game trailer. There will also be food trucks on hand. Those attending are encouraged to bring their own chairs, and dress for the weather, ensuring a comfortable evening.
