Albert Tenpenny w/Brandon, NYC - Long, a very long winter. In the city, alternate side of the street parking was suspended. That’s nice. And it slows down the city, too. Nice and quite. Brandon enjoyed snow days and went to the Silverball museum.

Richard Hunt, Belmar - I live on the water in Belmar and no matter how high I turned the heat up, I had a cold house. I’m paying the gas bills now. Those are memorable. I gave out hand warmers to the mailman and gas station attendant.

Ted Landers, Bradley Beach - I never remember a winter with such relentless extreme cold temperatures. I thank God for the sun we had. I dress for the weather and walk when I can. Lots of layers, ski masks, hats, etc.

Melissa Miller, Ocean - What I’ll remember most is that my daughter is 2 1/2 and this was the first time she played in the snow. It made up for all the snow and the cold. She had so much fun. She loved it. She keeps asking me if it’s snowing.

Ginny Richart, Neptune - That I was still able to shovel snow, that was memorable. I came from Whiting in a snowstorm. I was on the Parkway. The only way I found my way was to follow a truck’s tracks.

Joe Rudy, Ocean Grove - I thought we were going to get away with no snow but we got plenty in the end. And the zero temperature, I had to have my brand new car jumped started. Hopefully we’ll have a early spring.
