Be a Pirate for a Day in Bradley Beach

Bradley Beach Tourism announces it will host a Pirate Treasure Hunt on Aug. 15 around town and at several Bradley Beach businesses.

The hunt begins at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m. There will be loot hidden throughout town as well as special pirate prizes for all participating children to be picked up at Main Street businesses.

The Treasure Hunt provides a safe activity for families and is free to participate. Treasure maps may be picked up Wednesday-Friday, Aug. 12 to 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.at Borough Hall or on Sat., Aug. 15 from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. at Stockroom General Store. Downloads of the map available by emailing the Tourism Department at amyhall@bradleybeachnj.gov

Participating businesses include: Fins, Hair Love Salon, Stockroom, Tuscany by the Sea, Patrick Parker Realty and Sabores lo Nuestro. Pirate selfie stations will be set up around town and there’s gold doubloons to be found all over.

Along with the treasure hunt there is also an online costume contest where the best dressed pirate will win an Amazon Gift card. Check the Facebook page for details.
