Cache of Drugs, Money Seized in Ocean Grove

After a three month investigation of narcotic distribution in Ocean Grove, the Neptune Police Street Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the Bradley Beach PD K9 Unit, police arrested three men and seized 10 pounds of marijuana and more than $4,000 in cash.

The arrests were made following the execution of a residential search warrant on Ocean Pathway on Fri., Oct. 9.

In addition to approximately 10 pounds of marijuana, police also seized heroin, crack cocaine, oxycodone pills, drug packaging paraphernalia (digital scales and a vacuum sealer) and $4,018 in cash.

Arrested were resident Brandon Bridges, 35 of Ocean Grove, Tyrell Lomack, 31, of Toms River and Byron McGrath, 27, of Neptune. They were charged with various possession and distribution of CDS charges (including possession five to 25 pounds. of marijuana and possession with the intent to distribution in a park zone).  All were transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a detention hearing in accordance with bail reform.

Also arrested were Jamar Pitts, 37, of Wall Township and Nia Kevoian,  24,  of Asbury Park, who were released on summonses for possession of less than 50 grams of Marijuana and loitering to purchase CDS.
