The Asbury Park Historical Society invites the public to its Annual Reorganization Meeting which will be held Thurs., Jan. 21 at 7 p.m.
In keeping with the challenges of this past year which have continued into 2021, the meeting and special program presentation will be held virtually via Zoom. Please refer to our website aphistoricalsociety.org or Facebook page, the week of the call for the Zoom link.
Current and past APHS Members will receive the link via an email blast in advance of the meeting date.
Following the meeting portion of the evening our special program presentation will be a virtual tour and presentation of the history of the Stephen Crane House.
The business portion of the evening will address the challenges of 2020 and opportunities and vision for 2021. This year marks the 150th Anniversary of the founding of Asbury Park in 1871.
The society invites members to contribute their ideas, talents and skills towards activities to commemorate the yearlong celebration of our city’s founding.
The society’s mission this year is to encourage and enable members to take a more active role in the Historical Society’s committees on an ongoing basis as well as to bring life to some of the passionate projects that members may want to introduce to the Society.
