The 130th Anniversary of Bradley Beach continues with the Second Annual Local Summer event on the Brinley Avenue beach Sun, Sept. 10 from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
The Bradley Beach Business and Community Alliance, in its fourth year, is supporting this event.
It is a community gathering – free to everyone. And Shore Good Eats ‘N’ Treats, a very popular food truck, will be there for food purchases.
Throughout 2023, the Alliance has recognized 130th in many events and activities. The group has promoted the borough’s small businesses in Boost Bradley Beach and also supported the non profits.
One of the highlights of the year was the June 10 Flavors of Bradley which engaged the community and attracted 300 to the party. In addition, 27 local businesses donated , four local bands entertained and many volunteers contributed hundreds of hours to create a community event.
Formed in 2020 as a 501c6 non profit the Board of Directors are all volunteers. They are Ines Altemose, resident, Christine Dickler, resident, Alaethia Doctor, WellPoints and resident, Gary Engelstad, resident, Tina Garyantes, resident, Paula Gavin, resident, Simone Hazel Stockroom and resident, Doug Jung, resident, Anthony Pagano, UVA and Danny Patel.
