The Asbury Park City Council is scheduled to appoint a new city manager at its meeting Wed., Dec. 6.
Donna Vieiro, who has served in that position since December 2019, gave the council six months notice letting officials know she would be resigning at the end of the year.
Although Mayor John Moor could not give more details about the new appointment until the meeting he did say he was pleased with the choice saying she was the best candidate for the position.
