The Bradley Beach Business and Community Alliance is hosting the first-ever Tour de Bradley, a community bike cruise scheduled for Sat., April 20 starting at 8:30 a.m.
The event, aimed at fostering connections within the community, between neighborhoods, and with local Main Street businesses, is free and open to all residents and visitors.
Participants are encouraged to register early, with the deadline pf April 1, via the BBBCA website at www.bradleybeachalliance.org.
The Tour de Bradley is planned to show for local businesses.
“We extend our sincere appreciation to our generous sponsors, Katora Realty, Pasch Realty, and Patrick Parker Realty, whose support has been instrumental in bringing this event to life,” said Paula Gavin, BBBCA president. “Additionally, we are grateful for the invaluable assistance of the Borough of Bradley Beach Police Department, who will be ensuring the safety and smooth flow of our bike cruise.”
The event will kick off at the western end of Bradley Boulevard, led by the officers of the Bradley Beach Police Department. Cyclists will traverse the perimeter of the beach town before converging at Riley Park. There, participants will be treated to lively music provided by BBBCA Member, Ken Sorensen – Stringbean, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Volunteer event leaders, BBBCA Board Member Gary Engelstad and Alliance Advisor Katie Saldutti Sorenson, have been working to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for all participants. “The Tour de Bradley is not just about cycling; it’s about building connections and celebrating the spirit of our community,” Engelstad said. “Like many Alliance events, the Tour de Bradley will be fun and with a purpose. After our group circles around our town, we will descend on our Main Street and visit our great restaurants and shops. It’s a perfect start to a Spring day in Bradley Beach.”
