Police said Diaz attempted to elude police by running into Ocean Grove but patrols were able to apprehend him without incident. Sgt. Anthony Murray, Ptlm. William Major and Det. Gregory Pancza made the arrest.

Sept. 10  James J. Christian, 32, of 501 Lake Terrace was charged with lewdness after he exposed himself to another resident in the courtyard. Christian had also received a summons for urinating in public three days prior for a similar incident in the courtyard. Sgt. Michael Tardio and Ptlm. Anthony Badalamenti investigated the incidents and made the arrest.

On Sept. 12 on Ocean Park Avenue Justin Longstreet, 30, of 1820 Route 35, Wall Township was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia after patrols stopped him during the overnight hours. Further investigation revealed Longstreet was responsible for three car burglaries that occurred during the overnight hours of Aug. 29. Longstreet was additionally charged with three counts of burglary and theft for those crimes. Ptlm. William Major made the arrest with the assistance of Ptlm. Anthony Badalamenti.
