Poilce are investigating a suspicious death of a female at a rental residence on Hume Street in Allenhurst late Friday night.
Allenhurst Police Chief Michael Schneider said police responded to a call just before midnight Dec. 2. He said police are waiting for results of toxilogical tests while the investigation continues.
He stressed this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
