Police stopped a 39-year old Florida man for driving a vehicle with a fictitious license plate. Once stopped, officers found the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured. The subject was processed and released on 4 summonses, with a pending court date, and the vehicle was impounded. Sgt Lipari was the arresting officer.

Officers responded to the Allenhurst Train Station for a report of a man with a gun. The area was checked extensively and eventually determined to be a “swatting incident”. Chief Schneider, Sgt Lipari and Ptl Nichols were the responding officers.

Shortly after midnight, officers responded to a Main Street location for a report of a woman screaming. Officers found a female subject walking along the train tracks. It was determined the woman was having a verbal argument with someone over the phone. She was given a warning about trespassing on the train tracks and sent on her way. Ptl Kroeger was the investigating officer.

Officers responded to the Allenhurst Train Station for a report of a possible overdose. The woman was evaluated and medically cleared. Officers later transported her to her destination in Long Branch. Ptl Kroeger was the investigating officer.

Officers assisted another law enforcement agency on a report involving a juvenile. The investigation was handled by the other agency. Sgt Rapolla was the involved officer.

In the early morning hours, officers stopped a 29-year old Ocean Twp woman for driving erratically on Ocean Avenue. She was processed and found to be more than twice the legal limit. She was issued 3 summons and released into the custody of a responsible/sober adult. Her vehicle was also impounded. Ptl Eustace was the arresting officer.

During the evening hours, officers responded to a Norwood Avenue location for a report of a woman screaming. Both Allenhurst and Deal officers searched the area and no woman was located. Ptl Nichols was the investigating officer.

Officers stopped a 61-year old Ocean Twp man who was found walking on the railroad tracks. He was given a warning about trespassing on NJ Transit property and sent on his way. Ptl Nichols was the investigating officer.

After stopping a 63-year old Long Branch man for an equipment violation, police found he was driving with a suspended driver’s license. He was processed and released on 2 summonses, with a pending court date. Ptl Bailey was the arresting officer.

Police stopped a 30-year old Long Branch man for a motor vehicle violation and found the man was unlicensed (never having had a license). He was processed and released on 2 summonses, with a pending court date. The vehicle was turned over to a properly licensed driver. Sgt Rapolla was the arresting officer.

After stopping a 48-year old Long Branch man for a motor vehicle violation, police found he was unlicensed (never having had a license). He was processed and released on 2 summonses. The registered owner of the vehicle was also issued a summons for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate their vehicle. Sgt Rapolla was the arresting officer.

Officers stopped a 53-year old Neptune Twp man for an equipment violation and found the man was unlicensed (never having had a license) and his driving privileges were also suspended. He was processed and released on 3 summonses, with a pending court date. Ptl Bailey was the arresting officer.

Police stopped a 27-year old Deal woman for a fictitious license plate and during the stop. confirmed the temporary plate was fraudulent and the vehicle had no insurance. The woman was also found to be unlicensed (never having had a license). She was processed and released on 4 summonses and the vehicle was impounded. Sgt Rapolla was the arresting officer.

Officers stopped a 47-year old Long Branch man for a motor vehicle violation and found the vehicle’s registration was suspended and the vehicle had no insurance. The woman was processed and released on 2 summonses and the vehicle was impounded. Ptl Bailey was the arresting officer.
