Still time to register for the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission 5K Race and Family Walk which is just a few days away.
–The mission invites individuals and their family and friends to participate in the 5K Race, 2-Mile Walk, or Kids Fun Run. The event takes place on the Ocean Grove boardwalk on the morning of Sat., Oct. 28.
“There will be race bibs and tech tees for runners and walkers along with giveaway prizes, participant awards, and a carb bar provided by The Downstairs Kitchen in Ocean Grove.
In addition to being a community event, the race also serves as a way to raise awareness and support for the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission. Located in Asbury Park, the mission provides community meals, overnight shelter for men, and a men’s addiction recovery program, all free of charge.
