These results include only mail in votes received by Election Day.
The expansion project is not to exceed $6,850.000. The fire district will issue a 25-year bond to pay for the project. It is not expected to cause the district to exceed the two percent cap on the total budget for 2025 and will cost each property taxpayer the following amounts. For a property assessed at $200,000 the cost will be an additional $10.50 per tax quarter, for a home assessed at $500,000 the cost will be an additional $26.25 per tax quarter and for a home assessed at $1 million the additional cost will be$ $52.50 per tax quarter. It is anticipated the additional tax rate for the addition and renovations will be .021 cents per $100 of assessed valuation.
