Ocean Township welcomed two new police officers recently: Jeffrey C. Algor and Glennis Del Carmen Polanco.

Algor, a Monmouth County resident has a Bachelor’s Degree from Moravian College. He has previously served in this agency, in Avon as a SLEOII Officer and in Spring Lake as a dispatcher. He will be attending the waiver program at the Ocean County Police Academy beginning March 2016. He was officially appointed on February 8.

Glennis Del Carmen Polanco is a Middlesex County resident and has a Bachelor’s Degree from Berkeley College. She has previously served with the Carteret Police Department as a Special Officer Class I / 9-1-1 Public Safety Telecommunicator. She will be attending the Ocean County Police Academy in March 2016 and was officially appointed on March 7.
